Creators HQ Hosts Special Event To Support Humanitarian Content Creators In The UAE

Creators HQ, the first influencer hub in the UAE and Middle East, hosted a unique event to back creators of humanitarian content. This initiative was in collaboration with Meta and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The event is part of the Content for Good Programme, which encourages content creators in the Middle East to focus on humanitarian and social causes.

The programme aims to empower creative individuals by providing them with opportunities to produce impactful content that meets global standards. It also helps them reach a broader audience. The event's goal was to highlight the significant role of content creators in humanitarian efforts and inspire those interested in this field.

Supporting Humanitarian Content in the UAE

Dr. Khaled Khalifa, Senior Advisor & Representative to the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries at UNHCR, praised the UAE's commitment to supporting vulnerable displaced populations. He noted that their partnership reflects a shared approach to aiding those in need. Dr. Khalifa highlighted efforts in improving living conditions through shelter, food, education, and healthcare support.

He stated: "Our humanitarian partnership with the UAE embodies a shared approach and a deep-rooted humanitarian commitment to supporting the most vulnerable forcibly displaced populations wherever the need arises." He acknowledged partners' roles in aiding displaced individuals and opening new horizons for them.

The event featured an engaging programme with creative content and video reels on Instagram. Attendees experienced powerful humanitarian stories through visual and interactive formats. A pop-up shop offered handcrafted products, allowing visitors to support directly through purchases.

Musical performances, a photo exhibition, and a corner for writing solidarity messages were also part of the programme. An interactive map lit up with each personal donation, symbolising paths of hope created through support.

Addressing Global Challenges

Dr. Khalifa pointed out that global economic, political, and security challenges are increasing. He mentioned that funding gaps threaten millions' safety, forcing difficult decisions like delaying or reducing vital services or seeking alternative solutions.

He added: "The world is facing mounting economic, political, and security challenges. The widening funding gap is putting the safety of millions at risk." Dr. Khalifa stressed that displaced individuals still need access to essential services and require ongoing support.

The special event organised by Creators HQ in Dubai marked an important step in joint efforts to provide support through all available means. It aimed to amplify stories of those displaced by crises and wars while raising awareness about their challenges.

The gathering emphasised how everyone can play a role in offering opportunities and extending support while reaffirming solidarity with displaced communities worldwide.
