Creators HQ And Meta Facilitate Meaningful Visit To Rashid Centre For People Of Determination

Creators HQ and Meta recently organised a visit to the Rashid Centre for People of Determination as part of their Creators for Purpose programme. This initiative, launched earlier this year, brought together 30 content creators with a combined following exceeding 100 million. The visit aligns with the 1 Billion Acts of Kindness campaign, supported by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and the Varkey Foundation.

The visit included notable figures such as Sarah Abdulla, Narin Amara, and Yusra Mardini. These creators engaged with the centre's programmes and interacted with staff and volunteers. They participated in educational and recreational activities alongside the children, gaining insights into their challenges and talents. This experience highlighted the community's potential and inspired creators to share these stories widely.

Meta and Creators HQ Visit Rashid Centre

Sarah Abdulla is creating a documentary about this visit, aiming to capture its humanitarian essence. The film will showcase the children's achievements at the centre, promoting love and generosity within society. It also aims to highlight how the Rashid Centre builds self-confidence among children of determination, facilitating their societal integration.

"Our role as content creators and influencers is to share meaningful content that creates a positive impact in our communities. This initiative demonstrates the powerful influence we have to inspire society and spread happiness and hope among these children," Abdullah said.

The Creators for Purpose programme marks a significant collaboration between Creators HQ and Meta. It empowers regional creators to produce valuable content on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. The UAE's role in launching this programme underscores its leadership in digital media innovation and support for the creator economy.

The 1 Billion Acts of Kindness campaign began on 7th November 2025, led by MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson). With over 873 million followers globally, MrBeast invited creators worldwide to contribute acts of kindness in their communities. This campaign aims to unify individual efforts into a global movement for positive change.

To participate in this campaign, content creators are encouraged to submit videos showcasing their social impact initiatives by 1st December 2025. These submissions can include local volunteering or support for global causes. The top 10 impactful creators will be announced at the 4th edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai from 9th to 11th January 2026.

Global Movement for Positive Change

This initiative illustrates how digital platforms can drive real-world change by supporting humanitarian causes. By leveraging their reach, content creators can make a significant difference in the lives of children of determination. The visit exemplifies how social impact content can inspire widespread positive action.

The collaboration between Creators HQ and Meta through this programme highlights its unique position in fostering high-value content creation across digital platforms. This partnership not only supports regional creators but also amplifies their ability to inspire global audiences through meaningful storytelling.

This effort reflects a broader commitment to using digital media for social good, encouraging creators worldwide to engage in acts that promote kindness and community support. Through such initiatives, digital platforms become powerful tools for driving positive societal change on a global scale.
