Creators Competition: X Originals is inviting content creators worldwide to pitch long‑form video concepts for X, with a US$500,000 prize pool and extensive production support based in the UAE. The competition is linked to X Originals, the entertainment collection on the global social media platform X, and is delivered with Creators HQ, which is part of Visioneers. It focuses on original, exclusive programming for X, aimed at international audiences interested in sports, culture, technology, lifestyle, and philanthropy‑focused narratives.

Participants must propose an original video idea lasting between 7 and 20 minutes in one of five categories: Sports, Travel & Culture, Gaming & Tech, Lifestyle, or Philanthropy. Concepts must follow Creators HQ’s content standards and X’s community guidelines, so entries are expected to meet clear ethical, editorial, and technical expectations.
Entries need to be fully original ideas from the participants, and undisclosed AI‑generated content leads to disqualification. Creators can file more than one submission, including across different categories. This flexibility is designed to allow multi‑disciplinary creators to test several formats while staying transparent about any AI support in their workflows.
Applications are submitted using the official form on the Creators HQ website. The window for entries opens on 9th January 2026 and closes on 15th February 2026. Five winners are scheduled for announcement during Ramadan, followed by dedicated production and post‑production periods stretching into June 2026.

The 1 Billion Followers Summit, organised by the UAE Government Media Office and hosted in the UAE, is described as the world’s largest event focused on the content creator economy. The recent third edition took place over three days at Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future under the theme ‘Content for Good’.
The summit attracted over 150,000 content creators and more than 500 speakers, whose combined audiences reach about 3.5 billion followers. Within this environment, Creators Competition: X Originals is presented as a project that aligns digital production, social platforms, and policy discussions about purposeful media from the Middle East to global markets.
