CPHI Middle East Exhibition Concludes With Strategic Partnerships Surpassing SAR 10 Billion In Pharmaceutical Innovation
The CPHI Middle East pharmaceutical exhibition concluded with strategic partnerships surpassing SAR10 billion. This event, the largest of its kind in the pharmaceutical industry, gathered over 460 brands, with 80% being international. It became the most attended event in the Middle East and Africa (MENA) region.
Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel highlighted the exhibition's success, stating that "innovation in the pharmaceutical industry is at the forefront of the Kingdom's objectives to enhance individual and community health as part of the health transformation program under the Saudi Vision 2030. We were delighted to host the innovative pharmaceutical exhibition, CPHI Middle East, in the Kingdom, one of the most important global exhibitions in pharmaceutical innovation and healthcare industries."

A significant investment agreement was signed between the Ministry of Health and Julphar Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries. This deal involves establishing a bio-pharmaceutical facility in Saudi Arabia worth SAR300 million. The facility aims to support the national biotechnology strategy.
Additionally, plans for a new ZETA Gulf Pharmaceuticals plant were announced. This plant will be built in Saudi Arabia with an investment of SAR200 million. It aims to strengthen the pharmaceutical sector and align with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
The MENA region's pharmaceutical market is projected to reach $32 billion by 2027. Saudi Arabia is expected to capture about half of this market, exceeding $15 billion. This positions it as a leading center for innovation and development within this sector.
The exhibition underscored Saudi Arabia's commitment to becoming a global hub for pharmaceutical innovation. The event reflects its dedication to enhancing quality of life and supporting economic growth in pharmaceuticals.
The gathering showcased how new ideas are embraced with enthusiasm and forward-thinking vision. It marked a significant step towards achieving future goals outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.
