The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast highlighting a mix of dust-stirring winds, light to moderate rainfall, and potential fog formation across various regions in Saudi Arabia. In the southern and southwestern parts of the Kingdom, specifically in Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah, residents can expect dust-stirring winds accompanied by light to moderate rain. In the Red Sea, winds will blow from the north to northwest in the northern and central parts at speeds ranging from 15-45 km/h. In contrast, the southern part will see southwesterly to northwesterly winds at speeds of 12-50 km/h. Wave heights are expected to vary between one to two meters in the northern and central parts and could reach up to two and a half meters in the southern part of the Red Sea, indicating a relatively calm to choppy sea state.
Similarly, in the Arabian Gulf, southerly to southeasterly winds will prevail, reaching speeds of 15-45 km/h before shifting to northeasterly to northerly at 10-30 km/h. Wave heights will range from one to two meters in the northern and central parts, while the southern part will experience calmer conditions with waves measuring half a meter to a meter.
