MHRSD Rolls Out Multifaceted Support For Pilgrims In Hajj Season 1445 AH
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has introduced a comprehensive plan to support pilgrims and Hajj service providers during the 1445 AH Hajj season. This initiative offers integrated assistance for both establishments and individuals involved in Hajj. A key component is the Ajeer Al-Hajj online platform, which connects establishments with seasonal workers.
Institutions can advertise job vacancies and recruit suitable candidates, while job seekers can browse and apply for these opportunities. To date, 924 establishments have benefited from this service, resulting in the issuance of 11,715 permits. Additionally, the ministry has issued 42,853 seasonal work visas to meet the workforce demands of Hajj service providers.

MHRSD has launched volunteer programs to assist pilgrims at holy sites and the Grand Mosque. Volunteers will distribute meals, water, sun umbrellas, and other essential supplies. In collaboration with the Makkah and Madinah municipalities, MHRSD has initiated a multilingual awareness campaign to educate pilgrims about the risks associated with begging during Hajj.
This campaign covers psychological, social, economic, and security risks, along with applicable penalties. The aim is to ensure that pilgrims can focus on their rituals without distractions or concerns.
To further support pilgrims, MHRSD has established 22 children's hospitality centers in Makkah. These centers are staffed with trained personnel to care for children, allowing parents to perform their rituals with peace of mind.
Facilitating Sacrificial Rituals
The ministry also provides a service for pilgrims to authorize another person to slaughter their sacrificial animal. This service is available through the National Donations Platform. In collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank and civil society organizations, this platform facilitates the sacrifice and distribution of meat to those entitled.
These initiatives by MHRSD aim to enhance the overall experience for pilgrims during the Hajj season by providing essential services and support.
