The Red Sea and West of Saudi Arabia History Center, under the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), will launch the "Compass" program on Muharram 16, 1446 AH. This initiative aims to document the region's history and offers interactive summer activities. The program includes a competition to create content innovatively, enriching knowledge about the Red Sea fields.

Participants in the "Compass" program can expect a variety of activities over five days. Daily sessions will run from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Red Sea and West of Saudi Arabia History Center in Jeddah Governorate. The program is open to university students, graduates, and anyone interested in these fields.

The program spans numerous fields such as history, geography, environmental sciences, language and literature, social sciences, marine sciences, communication and media, earth sciences, tourism, natural sciences, architecture and planning. It also includes architectural engineering, health sectors, energy industries, logistics and transportation systems.

Participants will benefit from specialized guidance sessions led by experts in various tracks. Additionally, there will be accompanying activities like a folk games competition and a visit to historic Jeddah areas.

Opportunities for Recognition

Winners of the competition will receive financial prizes while all participants will be awarded certificates of attendance. Registration is currently open through the center's website where candidates can find more details about participation.
