Dubai To Welcome Second Community Sports Expo This May To Foster Sports Culture
The General Authority of Sports (GAS), in collaboration with the UAE Sports For All Federation, is set to host the second "Community Sports Exhibition" on the 15th and 16th of May at its headquarters in Dubai. This initiative is part of a broader effort to foster a culture of physical activity and make sports an integral part of life for everyone in the UAE, aligning with the country's leadership vision and the National Sports Strategy 2031 objectives.
The exhibition, which will see Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, Director-General of GAS, in attendance, underscores the authority's commitment to encouraging widespread participation in sports activities. By organizing this event for the second year running, GAS aims to empower individuals across all community segments to engage in sports, thereby highlighting the significance of a healthy lifestyle.

Featuring a variety of pavilions with awareness-raising shows, sports competitions, and demonstrations, the expo is designed to enhance community bonds and foster positive interactions among attendees. It promises to be a platform for visitors to receive valuable health advice and sports guidance from seasoned experts.
This year's exhibition is poised to be a landmark event that not only brings together individuals from various walks of life but also ignites a collective enthusiasm for sports. With participation from 24 entities, including government agencies, private sector institutions, sports federations, and companies, the expo aims to elevate sports and health consciousness within the community.
The Community Sports Exhibition represents a significant step towards realizing the UAE's ambition of integrating sports into the daily lives of its residents. By providing diverse opportunities for engagement and emphasizing the benefits of an active lifestyle, GAS and the UAE Sports For All Federation are actively contributing to the well-being and happiness of society.
