Commemoration Day Celebrates The Sacrifices Of UAE Martyrs And Inspires National Pride

H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, highlighted the significance of Commemoration Day as a national event that embodies sacrifice and devotion. "This day honours men who were true to their duty and met it with honour, rising as martyrs on the fields of dignity and pride in defence of their homeland."

He emphasised that the sacrifices made by the nation's martyrs have laid the groundwork for the UAE's current security and stability. These acts of bravery continue to inspire future generations to serve and protect their country. The martyrs' courage and selflessness elevate the UAE’s flag with pride.

Sheikh Humaid noted that 30 November each year is a "great source of pride, a day on which the sons of the UAE recorded honourable stances that reflect deep loyalty, unwavering commitment and strong belief in national duty." This day serves as a reminder of the martyrs' enduring presence in the nation's collective memory.

The Ruler of Ajman stressed that Commemoration Day reinforces "values of loyalty and strengthens the sense of profound responsibility towards the nation." It reaffirms unity between leadership and citizens while renewing dedication to follow in the martyrs’ footsteps, safeguarding achievements, and defending land, sea, and sky.

Sheikh Humaid praised the steadfastness and noble spirit shown by martyrs’ families. Their patience, resilience, and faith in God’s will are seen as another form of heroism. He acknowledged them as "partners in this honour—having given the nation men whose names are etched into the pages of pride and glory."

He stated that "The UAE will remain faithful to its martyrs, preserving their memory and guided by their sacrifices." The heroism displayed by these individuals will continue to light the path forward for future generations, instilling a spirit of sacrifice and devotion.

In his concluding remarks, Sheikh Humaid expressed prayers for Allah Almighty's blessings upon the UAE’s righteous martyrs.
