Saudi Summer 2025: Colour Your Summer Program Aims For Over 41 Million Visitors
The Saudi Tourism Authority has unveiled the "Saudi Summer 2025" initiative, aiming to highlight the Kingdom's cultural and natural diversity. This program, running until September's end, seeks to attract over 41 million tourists. It promises a vibrant experience under the theme "Colour Your Summer," featuring more than 600 activities across six key destinations that combine adventure with relaxation.
Riyadh will host the second Esports World Cup (EWC), the largest globally, drawing international visitors. The capital will also offer a variety of artistic and cultural events, making it a lively summer destination. Meanwhile, Jeddah will charm visitors with its mild Red Sea climate, new beaches, and luxurious resorts. The city provides diverse marine activities suitable for families and water sports enthusiasts.

In Aseer, the summer season brings a fresh appeal with musical, artistic, and cultural events like Al-Muftaha Village and Plato Event. Adventure trails and outdoor activities are set against towering mountains in moderate weather. The region's ancient stone houses add an authentic touch to visitors' experiences.
Taif offers refreshing mountain breezes and fragrant Taif roses in Arruddaf Park. Visitors can explore traditional markets and lush orchards while enjoying the misty allure of Al-Shafa and Al-Hada mountains. This city provides a rich blend of adventure and culture rooted in its historical significance as a summer retreat.
Al-Baha presents stunning natural beauty from mountain heights to valley depths in Raghadan Forest. Dense forests merge with traditional villages along mist-covered paths, offering relaxation alongside exploration. These settings create unique experiences for tourists seeking both tranquility and discovery.
Expanding Tourism Infrastructure
The program aligns with Vision 2030's goals to position Saudi Arabia as a global tourist hub known for its diversity. Significant expansions in air connectivity support this initiative by adding over one million domestic flight seats. This enhancement facilitates easier access to various destinations across the Kingdom.
The Red Sea destination introduces new experiences at Sheybarah and Ummahat islands within the luxury tourism framework. These pristine islands boast white sandy beaches, clear waters, and vibrant coral reefs, offering maritime adventures that enrich Saudi Arabia's upscale global tourism portfolio.
The "Colour Your Summer" initiative aims to exceed SAR73 billion in tourism spending this year. It offers an unforgettable summer filled with entertainment, culture, and nature—an experience designed to be cherished by visitors worldwide.
