Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi And DAWI Partner To Expand Cross-Border Digital Health In Kuwait
Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi has entered a strategic partnership with DAWI, a digital healthcare platform in Kuwait, aimed at easing cross-border access to specialised medical services. The agreement links Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s clinical expertise with DAWI’s technology, so patients in Kuwait can reach physicians and services in Abu Dhabi through a unified digital channel.
The collaboration is designed to support patients who seek advanced care outside their home country, including executive health services and future specialty offerings. Both organisations frame the partnership as a model for regional cooperation in healthcare, supporting easier referrals, coordinated care, and streamlined booking for Kuwait-based patients.

In the initial rollout, the focus will be on Executive Health Programme packages offered by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Under the agreement, DAWI becomes the exclusive digital partner for this programme in the Kuwaiti market. Users in Kuwait will be able to search, schedule, and manage these executive health services through DAWI’s platform.
Further phases are planned to include more medical specialties and service lines, which are intended to improve access to comprehensive care over time. This staged approach is meant to build a scalable model, starting with preventive and executive health, then extending into broader clinical areas as the partnership matures.
The partnership also aims to standardise the patient journey across borders, using DAWI’s digital infrastructure to support pre-visit coordination, appointment management, and follow-up. By linking systems in Kuwait and Abu Dhabi, the collaboration is expected to reduce administrative barriers and help patients receive care in line with international standards.
Dr. Georges-Pascal Haber, Chief Executive Officer at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, said, "We are proud to be DAWI’s first partnership outside Kuwait. This collaboration challenges the notion that healthcare delivery should be limited by geography. With this exciting partnership, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is positioned to extend specialised health offerings to a wider audience in Kuwait via the DAWI platform, expanding our regional reach, while maintaining the same clinical expertise and patient-centric approach that we are recognised for globally."
Bader Shishtari, Chief Executive Officer of DAWI, described the agreement as a central step in the company’s regional growth. Shishtari noted that partnering with one of the world’s leading hospitals aligns with DAWI’s long-term expansion plans and reflects the platform’s aim to connect users with advanced regional healthcare options.
Both organisations describe a shared goal of reshaping how patients in the Middle East access care across borders. By combining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s clinical capabilities with DAWI’s digital platform, the partners intend to support specialised, patient-focused care for Kuwait-based users and create a framework that can support wider regional healthcare delivery in future stages.
