Launch Of The 24th Clean UAE Campaign To Promote Environmental Awareness And Volunteerism
The Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) has unveiled the 24th Clean UAE campaign, set for 6th to 16th December 2025. This initiative, supported by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, aims to unite communities across the seven emirates. The focus is on promoting environmental awareness, volunteerism, and sustainability.
Habiba Al Mar’ashi, EEG's Co-Founder and Chairperson, highlighted that the campaign embodies the UAE’s dedication to social solidarity and shared environmental responsibility. "Clean UAE brings together citizens, residents, academic institutions, and government and private entities in a joint effort to preserve the country’s natural landscape," she stated.

The campaign will kick off in Dubai on 6th December. It will then proceed to Fujairah on 8th December, Sharjah on 10th December, Ajman on 11th December, Umm Al Qaiwain on 13th December, Ras Al Khaimah on 15th December, and conclude in Abu Dhabi on 16th December. Each location will host significant cleanup events involving corporates, students, and community volunteers.
Al Mar’ashi explained that Clean UAE extends beyond mere environmental cleanup efforts. It aims to raise awareness about pollution issues and promote recycling and waste reduction practices. The initiative also encourages volunteerism and social responsibility while fostering collaboration among federal and local governments, academic institutions, and private sectors to further the UAE’s sustainability objectives.
Participation in this campaign allows organisations to showcase their commitment to environmental stewardship. They can engage in tree-planting activities and community projects that have a lasting positive impact. EEG urges businesses, institutions, and individuals to join this effort towards a cleaner and more sustainable UAE.
EEG calls upon everyone—businesses, institutions, and individuals—to participate actively in creating a cleaner environment. By doing so, they contribute to a greener future for the UAE.
