Cityscape Global 2024 Concludes With Over SAR 230 Billion In Real Estate Transactions

The second annual Cityscape Global, a major real estate exhibition, recently concluded at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh. The event, themed "The Future of Living," spanned four days and was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing. It was organized in collaboration with the Real Estate General Authority (REGA) and the Housing Program, part of Saudi Vision 2030.

Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail attended the closing ceremony alongside Tahaluf Chairman Faisal Al-Khamisi. They were joined by housing leaders, officials, and committee heads. Al-Hogail praised Cityscape Global's achievements, emphasizing its role in advancing the real estate sector. He noted that investments and agreements highlighted ongoing growth aligned with Saudi Vision 2030's strategic goals.

Al-Khamisi expressed satisfaction with the event's success, attributing it to collaborative efforts from participants and organizers. He reported that attendance had doubled compared to previous years. The exhibition attracted over 172,000 visitors and featured more than 400 exhibitors, including prominent local and international companies. Notably, international participants constituted 47% of attendees.

REGA Chief Executive Abdullah Al-Hammad lauded the organizing teams for meeting audience expectations. He announced that sales by developers at the exhibition exceeded SAR20 billion. Strategic agreements between various entities surpassed SAR30 billion. Additionally, total real estate transactions at the event reached over SAR230 billion.

The event featured around 550 speakers from over 50 countries, including top experts and industry leaders who contributed significantly to its success. This diverse participation underscored Cityscape Global's importance as a platform for sharing insights and fostering collaboration within the real estate sector.

Cityscape Global's success reflects a strong focus on enhancing Saudi Arabia's real estate market appeal. The event demonstrated significant progress towards achieving Saudi Vision 2030 objectives by fostering local and international stakeholder engagement in this vital sector.
