China Recognises Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi With Great Wall Medal – Gold Class For Global Security Contributions
The People's Republic of China has honoured Major General Dr. Ahmed Naser Al Raisi, President of INTERPOL, with the "Great Wall Medal – Gold Class." This is the highest security accolade given by China's State Councilor and Ministry of Public Security. The award ceremony took place in Beijing, attended by Wang Xiaohong, China's State Councilor and Minister of Public Security.
Dr. Al Raisi expressed his heartfelt gratitude for this esteemed recognition. He stated that the "Great Wall Medal – Gold Class" is not just a personal honour but also an international acknowledgment of INTERPOL’s role as a global platform for security cooperation. He highlighted the collective efforts led by INTERPOL to safeguard people and combat organised crime.
