Childhood Thrives In 2030 Conference Launches At Princess Nourah University To Enhance Child Development
Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) has initiated the Childhood Thrives in 2030 Conference. This event, organised by the College of Education and Human Development in collaboration with the Ministry of Education's General Department of Early Childhood, is under the patronage of Minister Yousef Al-Benyan. It gathers leaders from the education sector, Saudi institutions, and childhood development experts at the university's headquarters.
The conference features a variety of activities aimed at enhancing child development in today's digital world. Attendees can participate in three panel discussions and six specialised workshops. These sessions are designed for parents, educators, and specialists to explore modern tools and technologies that support child growth. Additionally, methods to discover children's talents and raise awareness about their educational rights are highlighted.

Interactive pavilions and a scientific poster exhibition are part of the event, showcasing innovative educational tools. An accompanying exhibition highlights early childhood educational activities. The conference also emphasises initiatives from relevant authorities to promote childcare, development, and a safe environment for children.
Meetings with experts in education, technology, and mental health are scheduled to discuss strategies that can improve children's quality of life at both governmental and institutional levels. These discussions aim to develop policies and visions that align with modern needs.
The conference aligns with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's Child Protection in Cyberspace initiative. It reflects PNU's commitment to achieving its 2025 Strategic Plan goals through fostering a supportive environment for childhood development.
PNU aims to advance academic excellence through this conference by building effective partnerships that serve children. The university seeks to implement innovative community initiatives that prepare a conscious generation for a vibrant future.
This event underscores PNU's dedication to promoting childcare and creating sustainable environments for children. By engaging with various stakeholders, the university hopes to contribute significantly to childhood development efforts across Saudi Arabia.
