Charley Hull Wins Aramco Golf Team Series With Impressive Performance In Riyadh

Charley Hull, a British golfer and Golf Saudi Ambassador, emerged victorious in the Aramco Team Series held at Riyadh Golf Club. This event, presented by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), concluded after three days of intense competition. Hull achieved an impressive score of 18 under par, marking her first win since 2022 and the sixth in her professional career.

Hull's triumph was notable for its margin, as she finished three strokes ahead of Denmark's Nicole Broch Estrup. Her strong performance in the initial rounds set the stage for her victory. She ended five under par, surpassing Slovenia's Pia Babnik to claim the title with distinction.

The Aramco Team Series, organised by Golf Saudi, aims to promote golf both locally and internationally. The conclusion of this season's series was marked by Hull's victory. Noah Alireza, CEO of Golf Saudi, expressed pride in the successful week of golf in Riyadh.

"We have had a fantastic week of golf here in Riyadh," Alireza stated. "Witnessing amazing performances from outstanding players like Charley Hull and Team Tamburlini, who have given their best over the past three days." He highlighted the significant impact of Saudi sports through events organised by Golf Saudi.

Alireza also noted the participation of ten Saudi amateur players as a significant achievement for both the sport and the Kingdom. He praised the efforts behind Riyadh Golf Club's new facilities, which were designed and maintained by local talent.

The 'Go Golf' initiative celebrated the graduation of 58 new Saudi golfers during this event. This free educational program is unique globally and has registered 1,800 new players. Such initiatives are pivotal in fostering golf's growth within Saudi Arabia.
