Chalhoub Group's AED 1 Million Donation To Mothers’ Endowment Campaign

In a significant move towards fostering education and supporting underprivileged communities globally, Chalhoub Group has pledged AED 1 million to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign. This initiative, spearheaded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, is aimed at establishing a AED 1 billion endowment fund. The primary goal of this fund is to provide sustainable educational support to millions worldwide, marking a notable effort in the realm of global humanitarian aid.

The campaign, which aligns with the holy month of Ramadan, encourages community-wide participation in honouring mothers and their pivotal role in education. It is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, reflecting the UAE's commitment to humanitarian causes and the promotion of values such as kindness, compassion, and solidarity.

AED 1M for Mothers' Education Fund

These include the campaign’s official website (Mothersfund.ae), a dedicated call centre accessible via the toll-free number (800 9999), and bank transfers in UAE dirham to Emirates Islamic Bank (AE790340003708472909201). Additionally, donations can be made via SMS for Etisalat by e& users by sending "Mother" to numbers (1034, 1035, 1036, 1038), through the DubaiNow app under the "Donations" tab, and via Dubai’s community contributions platform Jood (Jood.ae).

The initiative not only seeks to honour mothers but also aims to revive the culture of endowments as a sustainable development tool.
