Saudi Arabia Celebrates 95 Years Of Unity On National Day Under Vision 2030

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, and its people will celebrate the 95th National Day under the slogan "Pride in Our Nature." This day marks a significant historical milestone: the unification of the country. It commemorates the royal decree issued by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, which officially renamed the country the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

King Abdulaziz's vision extended beyond unification. He focused on expanding and serving the two holy mosques, establishing schools and hospitals, and initiating agricultural development. These projects required funding, leading to oil exploration. In 1938, oil was discovered after years of unsuccessful attempts, transforming the desert into an industrial hub. Each subsequent ruler built upon King Abdulaziz's foundations: King Saud initiated Cabinet work; King Faisal championed Islamic solidarity; King Khalid oversaw economic renaissance; King Fahd enacted legislative reforms; King Abdullah approved Allegiance Council system; while King Salman focuses on administrative reforms.
