Car Fare Group Contributes AED 5 Million To Support Fathers' Endowment Campaign In UAE

Car Fare Group has contributed AED 5 million to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign. This initiative, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to honour fathers in the UAE. The campaign establishes a sustainable fund to provide healthcare for those in need. It is part of a broader effort by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) to promote compassion and solidarity.

The campaign encourages donations in honour of fathers, promoting values such as honouring parents and community support. It aims to enhance the UAE's reputation as a leader in charitable work. The initiative seeks to foster generosity and solidarity, which are key aspects of UAE culture, while also promoting the concept of endowments.

AED 5 Million Contribution to Fathers' Endowment Campaign

Jasbir Bassi, Chairperson of Car Fare Group, praised the campaign as a hopeful message from the UAE to underprivileged communities worldwide. "The Fathers’ Endowment campaign is a noble call to action," said Bassi. "It supports the poor and improves their access to sustainable healthcare." The initiative aligns with the UAE’s vision of spreading goodwill and supporting vulnerable groups through humanitarian projects.

Bassi expressed personal pride in contributing to the campaign in memory of her late husband Kulwinder Singh Bassi. She stated that this donation reflects Car Fare Group’s commitment to collective action for those in need. The company supports MBRGI’s efforts to positively impact lives through quality humanitarian projects.

The Fathers’ Endowment campaign continues to welcome contributions from both institutions and individuals. Donations can be made through various channels including the campaign website (Fathersfund.ae) and a toll-free number (800 4999). Bank transfers can be made in UAE dirhams using Emirates Islamic Bank's account number (IBAN: AE020340003518492868201).

SMS donations are available for Etisalat by e& and du users by sending "Father" to specific numbers: 1034 for AED 10, 1035 for AED 50, 1036 for AED 100, and 1038 for AED 500. Other platforms include the DubaiNow app under "Donations" and Dubai’s Jood platform (Jood.ae).

Mrs Bassi and her late husband Mr KS Bassi have always valued giving back to society. They believe it promotes well-being and progress for humanity. Their dedication aligns with the goals of the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, which seeks widespread community involvement.
