Calidus Showcases Advanced Defence Solutions At Dubai Airshow 2025 With Key Partnerships

Calidus Holding Group recently wrapped up its participation in the 19th Dubai Airshow 2025, marking a significant event in the show's history. The five-day event at Dubai World Central saw Calidus showcasing its latest innovations and advanced defence solutions. This participation underscores Calidus' commitment to enhancing its global standing in the defence industry.

The highlight of Calidus' showcase was the unveiling of the "Badr-250" (B-250) light attack aircraft. This aircraft is notable for being fully developed and manufactured in the UAE by Emirati talent. Designed for modern tactical operations, it features an advanced carbon-fibre structure that reduces weight while increasing strength.

Calidus Shines at Dubai Airshow 2025

During the airshow, Calidus signed several agreements with major global defence companies. A strategic partnership with Indra Group aims to establish a regional pilot-training centre in the UAE, serving regions across Asia, Africa, and Europe. This centre will adhere to top global standards in training.

Calidus also partnered with Airbus to set up a local maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) centre for A400M aircraft in the UAE. Additionally, a collaboration with Safran Electronics & Defense focuses on meeting the growing demand for advanced aerial delivery capabilities within the country.

For the first time, Calidus introduced its advanced short-range air-defence system Al Deraa. This system can counter various aerial threats, including unmanned aerial vehicles. It highlights Calidus' leadership in developing integrated protection systems that meet modern operational needs.

The company's pavilion attracted attention from ministers, military leaders, and officials worldwide. They praised UAE's defence industry's progress and Calidus' high-quality products that compete regionally and internationally due to their precision and reliability.

Expanding Global Influence

Dr. Khalifa Murad Al Baloushi, Managing Director and CEO of Calidus Holding Group, commented on their participation as a strategic milestone reflecting national defence industries' progress. He emphasised leveraging local investment and innovation to provide advanced solutions designed in the UAE.

"The airshow serves as a prestigious national platform for showcasing our capabilities," Dr. Khalifa stated. He highlighted how it supports cooperation between Calidus and global counterparts, boosting national export capabilities and adopting cutting-edge technologies.

The Dubai Airshow continues to reinforce UAE's status as a global hub for advanced defence industries under wise leadership guidance. Dr. Khalifa noted that Calidus has received official purchase requests from several countries for its products, evidencing growth and competitiveness at regional and international levels.
