Burjeel Medical Centre Opens In Al Falah To Provide Comprehensive Healthcare Services
Burjeel Holdings has unveiled its latest healthcare facility, the Burjeel Medical Centre, in Al Falah. This new centre is located within the Al Falah Central Mall and was inaugurated by Dr. Saif Sultan Al Nasri, Undersecretary of the Department of Municipalities and Transport. The event saw attendance from notable figures such as Dr. Fayeza Saif Alyafei, Executive Director of Healthcare Quality at the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, and Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Founder and Chairman of Burjeel Holdings.
The centre offers a broad spectrum of medical specialities including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. It integrates mental health services into primary care to provide holistic support for patients' physical and emotional well-being. Advanced diagnostic tools like ultrasound and X-ray are available alongside pharmacy services, IV infusions, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing.

Preventive care is a significant focus at the centre with offerings such as screenings for various conditions, smoking cessation programmes, autism support services, and immunisation options. These services aim to enhance overall community health by addressing both immediate medical needs and long-term wellness goals.
John Sunil, CEO of Burjeel Holdings, highlighted the importance of this new centre in strengthening Abu Dhabi's primary healthcare system. He stated that "At Burjeel Holdings, we believe primary care is the cornerstone of a strong healthcare network." By expanding through centres like this one in Al Falah, they aim to ensure communities have access to trusted medical expertise.
Dr. Khuloud Al Zubaidi, Medical Director and Specialist in Family Medicine at the centre, emphasised their commitment to delivering top-notch healthcare directly within communities. She noted that their goal is for every visit to be characterised by trust, accessibility, and personalised attention.
Community Engagement Initiatives
Beyond clinical offerings, the centre will engage actively with the community through year-round programmes focused on preventive care and health awareness. Educational sessions and screening campaigns will be organised to encourage residents to prioritise their health and adopt healthier lifestyles.
This approach not only improves access but also enhances patient experience through continuity and quality of care. By providing seamless referral pathways into specialised hospitals when needed, Burjeel Medical Centre aims to deliver comprehensive healthcare solutions tailored to individual needs.
The opening of this facility marks a significant step in Burjeel Holdings' mission to expand its reach across Abu Dhabi while maintaining high standards of medical service delivery. The integration of diverse healthcare services under one roof ensures that families can receive expert care without travelling far from home.
