Burjeel Holdings Expands Healthcare Access With Nine New Primary Care Clinics In UAE

Burjeel Holdings is set to open nine new primary care clinics in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Dubai. These clinics aim to improve access to comprehensive healthcare services for various demographic groups, enhancing community health outcomes. The UAE's healthcare strategy highlights the role of primary care in preventive healthcare and managing chronic conditions through early detection and treatment.

The new clinics will offer a range of services tailored to meet the healthcare needs of different communities. They will be located in both residential and industrial areas, ensuring high-quality care is easily accessible near patients' homes and workplaces. This expansion aligns with Burjeel Holdings' commitment to supporting the UAE's healthcare goals.

Burjeel Holdings Opens Nine New Clinics

These facilities will strengthen Burjeel Holdings’ existing hub-and-spoke network, which is projected to handle over 300,000 outpatient visits annually. The network also facilitates cross-group referrals. The clinics will act as community-based hubs, providing convenient access to primary healthcare services such as obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, dental care, family medicine, and radiology.

For more complex medical requirements, patients can be referred to Burjeel’s hospitals and day surgery centres. These centres offer secondary, tertiary, and quaternary care. This referral system ensures that patients receive appropriate levels of care based on their medical needs.

The expansion includes six clinics in Abu Dhabi (Medeor Al Nahyan, LLH Najda, LLH Ghayati, Lifecare Al Mafraq, LLH Al Nasser, and LLH Razeen), two in Al Ain (LLH Al Noud and LLH Al Hilal), and one in Dubai (LLH Dubai Investment Park). This strategic placement ensures that a wide range of communities benefit from enhanced healthcare access.

Burjeel Holdings has invested AED20 million into these new facilities. They are expected to be fully operational within the next two months. This investment reflects the company's dedication to expanding its reach and improving healthcare accessibility across the UAE.

Commitment to Healthcare Excellence

John Sunil, Group CEO of Burjeel Holdings, expressed enthusiasm about this development: "We are delighted to launch these nine new clinics as part of our ongoing efforts to broaden access to primary care across the UAE. This expansion underscores our commitment to supporting the nation’s healthcare objectives and ensuring that every resident has access to top-tier healthcare services, regardless of their location or demographic."

This initiative by Burjeel Holdings marks a significant step towards enhancing primary care services in the UAE. By focusing on preventive measures and early treatment options, these clinics aim to improve overall health outcomes for diverse populations across the region.
