Brazilian Executive Leaders Discover Dubai Police's Advanced Innovations In Security And Smart Services

A group from Brazil's Executive Leadership Programme recently visited Dubai Police to explore their advanced smart systems. The focus was on the Smart Police Station (SPS) and Command and Control operations. Dr. Brigadier Tamim Al Haj, Acting Deputy Director of Excellence and Pioneering, welcomed them alongside Colonel Hisham Al Jowder, Director of Smart Police Stations, and other officers.

Brigadier Al Haj emphasised the importance of fostering communication with both local and international government bodies. He highlighted that such interactions facilitate knowledge sharing and allow for the exploration of best practices in policing and public safety. This visit was a step towards strengthening these ties.

The delegation was taken to the Command-and-Control Centre at the General Department of Operations. Here, they were introduced to the latest services and initiatives aimed at enhancing safety in Dubai. Notable advancements include a three-dimensional smart map and a patrol management system that ensures quick response to emergencies.

The Brazilian visitors also explored the Smart Police Station located at Dubai Police HQ. This station operates entirely through smart channels without human intervention, offering services 24/7. It provides criminal, traffic, certificate, permit, and community services adhering to top international standards.

During their tour of the SPS, the delegation learned about various criminal services available. These include the Police Eye service, labour complaints handling, bounced cheque reports, victim support services, home security requests, human trafficking reports, report enquiries, and domestic violence victim support.

Traffic-related services were also showcased. These encompass fine payments, vehicle colour change requests, traffic status enquiries, and reissuing accident reports. The station's ability to handle these tasks without human intervention impressed the visitors.

At the conclusion of their visit, the Brazilian delegation expressed admiration for Dubai Police's advanced policing methods. They praised how smart technologies are innovatively used to serve the community effectively.

This visit not only highlighted Dubai Police's commitment to technological advancement but also reinforced their role as leaders in modern policing practices globally.
