The Government of Dubai Media Office's creative arm, Brand Dubai, is organising the 'Al Etihad Parade' on 2nd December to celebrate the 54th Eid Al Etihad. This event is part of the 'National Month' initiative by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The parade aims to foster community spirit and national pride through safe and engaging public events.

The parade will start at Dubai Maritime City at 3:00 pm, proceeding along Jumeirah Road from Union House to Burj Al Arab between 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm. Over 30 volunteers from the Community Development Authority will distribute more than 1,000 UAE flags to participants. Organisers stress adherence to safety guidelines for all involved.

Guidelines for Participants

The Events Security Committee emphasised providing a safe environment during celebrations. Police patrols will ensure traffic flow and safety along the route. Participants must adhere to traffic instructions for a smooth experience. Compliance with guidelines is crucial for a well-organised parade on 2nd December.

Participants should only join authorised parades and follow police instructions. They must avoid forming unregulated processions or performing stunts on roads. Drivers should keep within designated lanes without dangerous overtaking or driving on hard shoulders. Vehicles must not have windows obscured or carry more passengers than allowed.

Strict Compliance Required

Organisers prohibit fireworks, inappropriate stickers or slogans, unlicensed vehicle modifications affecting safety, and loud music or noise emissions from vehicles. Violations may lead to penalties under Decree No. (30), including fines between AED10,000 and AED100,000, vehicle impoundment for over 90 days, black points on licences, or suspension.

Brand Dubai encourages everyone to follow official channels for updates related to this event. The 'Al Etihad Parade' offers an opportunity for communities across Dubai to unite in celebrating national pride while ensuring safety remains paramount throughout festivities.
