Brand Dubai Unveils Ramadan Recipes Guide With 40 Unique Dishes From Celebrated Chefs
Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has introduced the sixth edition of its ‘Ramadan Recipes Guide’. This edition features 40 unique recipes crafted in collaboration with renowned chefs, cafes, and restaurants across Dubai. Part of the #RamadaninDubai campaign, this guide invites residents and visitors to explore innovative dishes that blend traditional Ramadan flavours with modern culinary creativity.
The guide showcases a diverse range of recipes reflecting Dubai’s vibrant food scene. It encourages food enthusiasts to try new recipes and inventive twists on classic dishes. Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, expressed appreciation for the chefs and food outlets involved in this year's guide. She noted their role in curating recipes that embody Ramadan's spirit while highlighting Dubai's globally acclaimed culinary diversity.

Al Suwaidi emphasised collaboration with 10 exceptional restaurants and cafes from Brand Dubai’s ‘Proudly from Dubai’ network and 10 skilled chefs. "Brand Dubai’s latest guide is a celebration of their achievements and an opportunity to introduce the wider community to unique recipes during the Holy Month of Ramadan," she stated. The initiative aims to increase visibility for local businesses and talent.
This year’s guide prominently features four Emirati chefs who have gained admiration from Emirati families and diverse communities for their culinary skills. Al Suwaidi highlighted that the guide serves as a platform to showcase these chefs' contributions while presenting a mix of Emirati and international flavours enriching the Ramadan dining experience.
Khawla Al Hashmi, Member of the Organising Committee for #RamadanInDubai Campaign, highlighted this year’s diverse lineup. "This edition features four accomplished Emirati chefs alongside six renowned chefs from the region and beyond," she said. The guide also includes recipes from popular restaurants and cafes offering dishes inspired by global cuisines infused with Ramadan flavours.
The featured chefs include Emirati talents Faisal Naser, Mohammed Essa, Sultan Kayed, and Abdulaziz Ahmed. They are joined by international chefs Yara Ali El Masry, Ali Yazdi, Hala Manaf Ayash, Rene Ignacio Cerda Flores, Afnan Maher Al Amir, and Kuvam Sharma. Participating establishments include The Lighthouse, Be Coffee, Saddle, Tanoor, Osteria Funkcoolio, June & Co. Bakery, Mamafri, Quince Restaurants & Café, Steak on Me by GOAT, and Villa 515.
A Blend of Tradition and Innovation
The newly launched guide offers a delightful mix of traditional and modern recipes suitable for Iftar and Suhoor meals. With detailed instructions provided for each dish, families can create appetisers, soups, salads, main courses, desserts, and Suhoor specialties at home. This initiative is part of Brand Dubai's ongoing efforts to promote homegrown businesses.
‘Proudly from Dubai’ is an initiative aimed at sharing success stories of entrepreneurs and creative talents born in Dubai with both local and global audiences. It seeks to highlight innovation shaping Dubai’s business culture while raising visibility for these emerging talents.
