Blind Yemeni Pilgrim Sheikh Majid Al-Khudairi Fulfils Hajj Dream Through Custodian Of The Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program

A blind Yemeni pilgrim, Sheikh Majid Al-Khudairi, who is also an Imam in Taiz, expressed immense happiness upon reaching Makkah for Hajj. His journey was made possible by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit. This initiative is managed by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.

The program operates under the guidance of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and is directly supervised by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Sheikh Al-Khudairi's participation began after he shared his wish to perform Hajj during a television interview, which led to an immediate invitation.

"I never saw the Kaaba with my own eyes, but I felt its majesty touching my heart," he remarked. "My tears preceded my steps as I arrived at the two holy mosques. My feelings of faith overflowed within me as I sensed the sanctity of the place and the magnificence of the rituals." These words reflect his deep emotional connection to this spiritual journey.

Sheikh Al-Khudairi expressed profound gratitude towards Saudi Arabia's leadership and people for their dedication to serving Islam and Muslims. He acknowledged that he never anticipated being able to perform Hajj due to his health condition but credited the Kingdom's wise leadership for opening this opportunity for him.

"I am deeply grateful to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for this great generosity and generous care," he stated. His appreciation highlights how significant this opportunity was for him personally.

Al-Khudairi praised the extensive services provided by the ministry to guests participating in the program. He noted that their hospitality, warm reception, and meticulous organization underscore Saudi Arabia's esteemed role in serving pilgrims worldwide.
