Blackline Safety Secures 28,000-Unit Order From ADNOC, Boosting Workplace Safety Innovation

In a significant advancement for workplace safety, Blackline Safety Corp., renowned for its connected safety technology, has announced a landmark purchase order from the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

This order, stemming from a multi-year contract, potentially includes up to 28,000 Blackline devices along with associated services. The deal, facilitated by Al Masaood, a channel partner of Blackline, marks a pivotal commitment by ADNOC, a leading global energy producer, to enhance the safety of its frontline workers through cutting-edge technology.

ADNOC, recognised for generating more than 4 million barrels of oil and substantial volumes of natural gas daily, will integrate approximately 1,000 G6 wearable single-gas detectors and 1,200 Blackline Location Beacons.

These beacons are designed to improve location signals within ADNOC's facilities, underscoring a significant move toward leveraging connected safety technology to ensure the well-being of its workforce. This initiative aligns with ADNOC's ongoing dedication to operational excellence and the safety of its employees on a large scale.

Blackline Safety and ADNOC Enhance Worker Safety

The G6 wearable detectors represent the forefront of single-gas detection technology, offering unparalleled connectivity, safety features, and service life. This device is not only capable of identifying hazardous gases but also provides exact real-time location information, ensuring that emergency responders can quickly locate and assist workers in critical situations.

Additionally, the integration of Blackline Location Beacons enhances the precision of these location signals, safeguarding personnel in areas where GPS signals may be compromised.

Andrea Lamond, Vice President of Growth Operations and Interim VP of International Sales at Blackline Safety, expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership with ADNOC and Al Masaood, stating, "This first order under the new agreement with ADNOC is an important milestone in our multi-year growth strategy in the Middle East."

Over the past three years, Blackline Safety has seen its influence expand significantly in the Middle East, successfully deploying connected safety solutions across leading energy companies. This recent agreement with ADNOC emphasizes the growing demand for Blackline's comprehensive safety ecosystem. This ecosystem integrates wearable technology, cloud-based software, and round-the-clock live monitoring to ensure the protection of workers in some of the most demanding environments.
