BKFC Makes Historic Debut In Dubai With Exciting Championship Matches Planned

The World League of Fighters (WLF) and the Dubai Sports Council announced the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship's (BKFC) debut in Dubai. The event took place at the Burj Al Arab, marking a significant moment for combat sports in the region. Key figures such as WLF Co-Founders Rajesh Banga and Sunil Mathew, along with BKFC Founder David Feldman, were present.

The press conference outlined plans for BKFC's first event in the Emirates. Scheduled at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on Thursday and Friday, it aims to become a prominent fixture in Dubai's combat sports scene. This announcement has generated excitement globally, highlighting Dubai's growing influence in the sport.

BKFC Launches First Event in Dubai

The two-day event will feature notable fighters. On April 4th, Carlos "Snake" Trinidad and Austin Trout will headline the Welterweight championship. Additionally, Britain's Strawweight champion, Britain Hart, will face Tai Emery in the women's main event for the Strawweight Championship.

April 5th promises more thrilling matches. Tommy Strydom is set to challenge Kai Stewart for Featherweight supremacy. Meanwhile, Hannah Rankin and Jessica Borga will compete in another main event of the weekend.

Rajesh Banga and Sunil Mathew expressed their excitement about partnering with Dubai Sports Council. They stated, "It took us more than two years to bring it here because David has been instrumental in the growth of BKFC, which has become the fastest-growing combat sport in the world." They emphasised that finding suitable dates was challenging but are thrilled to showcase Dubai as a prime destination outside America.

Eisa Mohammed Sharif from Dubai Sports Council acknowledged WLF's efforts: "We would like to thank World League of Fighters for bringing the BKFC event for the very first time in Dubai." He noted that this sport is rapidly gaining popularity and expressed support for its growth in the region.

This collaboration between WLF and BKFC marks an important step for combat sports in Dubai. The upcoming events promise to deliver thrilling matches while solidifying Dubai's status as a key player in global combat sports.
