Bisconni Middle East Manufacturing To Establish AED 110 Million Factory In KEZAD
Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) Group, a leading operator of economic zones, has signed a 50-year land lease with Bisconni Middle East Manufacturing. This agreement will facilitate the creation of a modern manufacturing facility in KEZAD Al Ma’mourah. Bisconni, part of Pakistan's Ismail Industries, is known for producing confectionery, biscuits, and snacks. The company is investing AED110 million (US$30 million) to establish a 37,000 square metre plant in KEZAD.
Bisconni's investment aligns with its strategy to broaden its global presence. The new facility will focus on producing biscuits and confectionery items. Mohamed Al Khadar Al Ahmed, CEO of KEZAD Group, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming Bisconni. He stated that this partnership enhances Abu Dhabi’s status as a regional hub for food and confectionery industries.

Maqsood Ismail, Managing Director of Bisconni Middle East Manufacturing, acknowledged the support from KEZAD and UAE authorities. He appreciated their cooperation and swift project approvals. "We look forward to an exciting chapter in our international expansion and growth," he said.
