BEEAH Joins Forces With The Big Heart Foundation To Support Humanitarian Efforts Worldwide

BEEAH, a leader in sustainability and quality of life initiatives in the Middle East, has announced a strategic partnership with The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF). This collaboration aims to support TBHF’s regional and international human welfare initiatives through awareness and fundraising campaigns. The agreement was signed by Khaled Al Huraimel, Group CEO and Vice Chairman of BEEAH, and Mariam Al Hammadi, Director-General at TBHF, at BEEAH Headquarters.

Building on their ongoing collaboration, this partnership will drive social impact and support underprivileged families, children, and communities. It aims to accelerate positive change globally. Both organisations are based in Sharjah and share values that focus on improving the quality of life for all. They are joining forces to address global developmental challenges and ensure societal betterment.

BEEAH and TBHF Partner for Good

H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA), has inspired both organisations. Her vision has driven efforts to protect and empower vulnerable children and families worldwide. The Big Heart Foundation has reached over 5 million beneficiaries in 33 countries, focusing on healthcare, education, and infrastructure development.

Through the new agreement, BEEAH will support TBHF by organising fundraising activities and providing resources for event activations. This includes access to its state-of-the-art headquarters for fundraising events and workshops. BEEAH will also continue sponsoring TBHF’s projects, helping impoverished children and families overcome adversity.

Khaled Al Huraimel expressed pride in the long-standing relationship with TBHF. He said, "The Big Heart Foundation has been at the forefront of humanitarian efforts and has had an incredible impact on disadvantaged communities, families, and children. BEEAH has been proud to maintain a long and fruitful relationship with TBHF to aid their philanthropic initiatives."

Mariam Al Hammadi highlighted the partnership's embodiment of Emirati society's values of cooperation among entities, institutions, organisations, and individuals in supporting humanitarian efforts globally. She stated, "This partnership embodies the UAE's rich heritage of ethical responsibility to the underprivileged, which has positioned the nation at the forefront of global humanitarian efforts."

Strategic Support for Global Initiatives

Al Hammadi explained that TBHF and BEEAH will operate according to a comprehensive strategy to support refugees, people in need, and victims of disasters and conflicts. This strategy includes enabling access to health, education, and community rehabilitation services. It also involves developing capacities and skills to transform aid recipients into contributors to their communities.

BEEAH’s support for TBHF includes contributions to relief efforts for Rohingya refugees in 2018. This aid provided emergency shelters and essential assistance during crises. BEEAH also supported TBHF in aiding those affected by natural disasters in Syria and Türkiye.

Educational Initiatives

The Big Heart Foundation has established The Big Heart Educational Centre (TBHEC) in the UAE. This institution is dedicated to shaping a better future for underprivileged students from various nationalities. As part of the new partnership agreement, BEEAH will work closely with TBHEC to conduct workshops on environmental sustainability for students. They will also provide internship and employment opportunities to facilitate personal and professional development.

This partnership reflects a commitment to ensuring a secure future for all while fostering positive change. It aligns with Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi's vision of empowering the underprivileged with tools for survival and success.
