Bayti Initiative Committee Approves Construction Of 150 Housing Units Annually For Citizens

The "Bayti" initiative has committed to building 150 housing units each year for low-income families. Al Shehhi highlighted that the initiative aligns with leadership's vision to empower citizens with modern homes, ensuring a dignified life and stability. The committee assessed the first phase's progress, which includes 223 housing units over 813,000 square feet. They announced that 72 homes are complete, while 151 are still being built. The committee also approved new resolutions to expand the initiative's reach by introducing advanced construction methods for better efficiency and quicker delivery.

To ensure more citizens benefit from housing support, the committee broadened eligibility criteria. This decision aims to extend assistance to a larger number of people in need.
