Bandar Alkhorayef Elected As President Of UNIDO’s 21st General Conference In Riyadh

Saudi Arabia's Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, has been elected as the President of the 21st General Conference (GC21) of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). This decision was made during the opening session in Riyadh, highlighting Saudi Arabia's increasing influence in global industrial development. The outgoing President of UNIDO General Conference, Debora Lepre, announced the decision to attendees. She stated: "Distinguished delegates, I am pleased to declare the unanimous election — by acclamation — of Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Bandar Alkhorayef as President of the 21st of the General Conference."
