Bahrain’s Youth Ministry Delegation Engages with Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Leadership and Innovation

In a significant move to bolster youth leadership and innovation, a delegation from the Bahrain Ministry of Youth and Sport Affairs recently embarked on a visit to the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators located in the Emirate of Sharjah. This visit underscores a growing interest in collaborative efforts to nurture the next generation of leaders. The Bahraini delegation was led by Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Bahrain Youth Affairs, and Marwan Fuad Kamel, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs.

The delegation's agenda was packed with visits to several key institutions under the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation, including Sharjah Children in Al Qarayen, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, Wasit Youth Centre, and the Rubu’ Qarn Music Centre. These visits provided comprehensive insights into the foundation's integrated programme designed to engage children and youth in various activities that align with their interests, thereby fostering their development.

Bahrain Youth Ministry Visits Rubu’ Qarn

During their visit, the Bahraini officials met with Dr. Abdulaziz Al Noman, a member of the Board of Trustees of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation, along with other directors from the foundation's affiliated institutions. The discussions revolved around enhancing cooperation to benefit youth across different age groups by equipping them with new skills across various fields.

The visit also highlighted the pivotal role played by H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation, in supporting youth empowerment initiatives. The Minister of Bahrain Youth Affairs lauded Sheikha Jawaher for her dedication to supporting young women and youth, emphasizing the need to expand cooperation between Bahrain’s Ministry and the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation through joint initiatives aimed at maximizing benefits for young individuals.

This collaborative effort between Bahrain and Sharjah's Rubu’ Qarn Foundation is a testament to the shared vision of fostering a generation equipped to lead with innovation and creativity. It marks a step forward in creating more opportunities for youth empowerment in the region.
