Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman Welcomes Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed For Bilateral Talks
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, welcomed H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, at Gudaibiya Palace. The visit coincided with the 12th session of the UAE-Bahrain Joint Higher Committee.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah conveyed greetings from UAE leaders, including President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. They extended their best wishes for Bahrain's continued progress and prosperity.
Prince Salman expressed gratitude for the visit and sent his regards to UAE leaders, wishing them prosperity. He highlighted that Bahrain-UAE relations are deeply rooted in brotherhood and shared history, serving as a model for strategic partnerships. The commitment to enhancing these ties is evident at all levels.
The meeting was attended by several key officials from both nations. Among them were Abdullah bin Touq Al Mari, Minister of Economy; Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of State; Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Trade Affairs; Fahad Mohammed Salem bin Kardous Al Ameri, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah praised the strong brotherly bonds between the two countries. He acknowledged the growth in cooperative relations across various sectors that align with both nations' developmental goals. He also appreciated Prince Salman's dedication to fostering these ties for comprehensive development.
Prince Salman noted that bilateral cooperation receives continuous attention from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Their focus remains on expanding these relations to new heights.
To honour the occasion, Prince Salman hosted a luncheon for Sheikh Abdullah and his delegation. This gesture further underscored the warm ties between Bahrain and the UAE.
