ATM 2025 Opens Tomorrow, Uniting Travel Professionals From Over 166 Countries
The 32nd Arabian Travel Market (ATM) is set to commence at the Dubai World Trade Centre, attracting over 2,800 exhibitors and more than 55,000 travel professionals from 166 nations. This event highlights ATM's growing significance in global tourism, with international exhibitors making up 67% of the participants. The Middle East accounts for the remaining 33% of exhibitors this year.
Focused on "Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity," ATM 2025 will explore how connectivity across borders, industries, and communities shapes tourism's future. The event aims to demonstrate how connectivity fosters a sustainable, inclusive, and globally integrated travel industry through various activities like the ATM Conference and networking sessions.

ATM Travel Tech will introduce a Start-Up and Innovation Zone showcasing emerging travel pioneers. Visitors can experience an immersive VR setup offering fresh insights into industry possibilities. Additionally, the fourth annual Start-Up Pitch Battle will highlight innovative thinkers from the Middle East.
Asia emerges as the fastest-growing region at ATM, with exhibitor participation increasing by 20% compared to last year. This growth is attributed to improved regional connectivity and stronger ties with international markets. Asian destinations such as Japan, Macao, and South Korea will be prominently featured.
A notable feature of ATM 2025 is IBTM@ATM, a dedicated zone connecting business event buyers with exhibitors like venues, hotels, convention bureaus, and airlines. The Business Events Stage will host sessions exploring strategies for growth in business events and corporate travel.
The ATM Conference will provide industry insights from over 200 experts across three stages: Global Stage, Future Stage, and Business Events Stage. Senthil Gopinath from ICCA will formally welcome attendees on the Business Events Stage. A session on global events driving socio-economic growth will follow.
India's Growing Presence
India's tourism sector shows significant growth with a 30% increase in its presence at ATM this year. This rise is driven by regional tourism boards from Goa and Karnataka among others, alongside airlines like Air India. India's participation underscores its expanding influence in global travel markets.
International visitors make up over 52% of registrations for ATM 2025. UAE and GCC visitors contribute significantly to attendance figures at 48%. Top registered international markets include India, Egypt, UK, Türkiye, and USA, highlighting the event's broad appeal across key global regions.
This year's ATM has expanded to accommodate increased interest by adding two new halls. The conference programme spans three dynamic content stages: Global Stage, Future Stage, and Business Events Stage. Danielle Curtis expressed excitement about IBTM@ATM and ATM Travel Tech's role in shaping the industry's future through technology.
The strategic partners for ATM 2024 include Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) as Destination Partner; Emirates as Official Airline Partner; IHG Hotels & Resorts as Official Hotel Partner; and Al Rais Travel as Official DMC Partner.
