ATM 2025 To Welcome 55,000 Travel Professionals From 166 Countries In Dubai
Opening its doors tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the 32nd edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) is set to welcome over 55,000 travel professionals from 166 countries, featuring more than 2,800 exhibitors. This year, the event highlights its increasing significance on the global stage, with a diverse international representation making up 67% of the exhibitors, showcasing the Middle East's robust 33% share in the global tourism sector.
Focusing on "Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow's Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity", ATM 2025 aims to delve into how future tourism will evolve through increased interconnectivity among different regions, sectors, and communities. The event is poised to offer insights into creating a more sustainable, inclusive, and globally integrated travel industry, with these themes prevailing across various activities, including the ATM Conference and specialized networking sessions.

"Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director for the Middle East, Arabian Travel Market, said: "ATM 2025 is on track to break records in terms of both attendance and exhibitor participation. This week, we look forward to welcoming travel professionals from all travel sectors and verticals, including the leisure, business events, luxury and corporate travel sectors."
The surge in interest has led to the inclusion of two extra halls this year, facilitating the ATM Conference Programme across three stages: the Global Stage, Future Stage, and Business Events Stage. "I'm particularly looking forward to IBTM@ATM, a dedicated business events zone, and ATM Travel Tech, which highlights the transformative role of technology in shaping the future of the industry," commented Danielle Curtis.
Asia's growing influence in the global travel industry is underscored at ATM, where exhibitor participation from the region has seen a remarkable 20% increase from the previous year. Countries such as Japan, Macao, the Maldives, Mauritius, South Korea, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines are represented, highlighting the region's expanding role in international travel.
India, experiencing significant tourism growth, has marked a 30% increase in its presence at ATM this year. This surge is attributed to the robust participation from regional tourism boards and airline carriers including Air India and Air India Express, emphasizing the country's expanding footprint in the global travel scene.
International visitor registrations make up over half of the total, with significant contributions from the UAE and GCC, making up the remaining 48%. The top five international markets registered for ATM 2025 include India, Egypt, the UK, Türkiye, and the USA, illustrating the event's broad appeal.
"Once again Rotana is delighted to be the official registration partner for ATM. As a homegrown brand, Rotana views ATM as an exciting opportunity to showcase the region, and our strong partnerships within the industry," said Philip M. Barnes, Chief Executive Officer, Rotana.
ATM Travel Tech, a vital component of the event, showcases over a 23% increase in products, reflecting the travel industry's integration with technology and innovation. This segment includes discussions on the Future Stage and extends across Hall 1 and Za'abeel Hall 3, highlighting the latest tech advancements in the travel and hospitality sectors.
The new Start-Up and Innovation Zone within ATM Travel Tech will spotlight emerging pioneers in travel, offering an immersive VR experience that promises to open new perspectives on industry possibilities. Also, the Start-Up Pitch Battle returns for its fourth year, celebrating the most innovative ideas in the Middle East.
A major highlight is the introduction of IBTM@ATM, dedicated to connecting business event buyers with a broad range of exhibitors. The Business Events Stage will host sessions exploring growth strategies in business events and corporate travel.
The ATM Conference will feature over 200 experts discussing the latest industry trends across three stages. Tomorrow, the Business Events Stage will welcome Senthil Gopinath, CEO, International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), followed by sessions on global events' socio-economic impact and the Arabia China Tourism (MICE) Forum.
Additionally, experts from Booking.com, dnata Travel Group, and Airbnb will explore travel microtrends on the Future Stage, while senior representatives from leading hotel brands will discuss brand transformation on the Global Stage.
In partnership with Dubai World Trade Centre, ATM 2024's strategic partners include the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), Emirates, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Al Rais Travel, ensuring a comprehensive and collaborative approach to showcasing the region's travel and tourism potential.
