ATM 2025 Anticipates Record Attendance As Visitor Registrations Surge By Over 100%
With three weeks to go until Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the event is set to attract a record number of high-value visitors. Registrations have surged by 104% compared to the same period last year, solidifying its status as a crucial platform for travel trade professionals worldwide. This increase highlights ATM's global appeal and its role in fostering international connections and collaborations.
International markets make up a significant portion of visitor registrations, accounting for 52% of the total. This underscores the event's global reach and the importance of cross-cultural interactions. Meanwhile, visitors from the UAE and GCC contribute 48% to the registration figures, reflecting strong regional interest in the event.

The theme for ATM 2025 is "Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity." This theme highlights how connectivity is shaping the tourism industry. It emphasises collaboration across the industry and focuses on communities that are key centres for trade and tourism.
Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME at Arabian Travel Market, stated: "Increased international attendance strengthens the global profile of ATM, providing a vital boost to the local economy and driving revenue in sectors such as hospitality, retail, and travel, thereby demonstrating the impact and strength of business events."
The top five countries registered for ATM 2025 include the UAE, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. India remains a major source market due to its growing outbound travel market and expanding aviation sector. Last year's ATM saw notable increases in visitors from Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, and Middle East regions.
Significant growth was observed regionally with Saudi Arabia witnessing a 48% increase in visitors. Oman saw a rise of 40%, Qatar 39%, Bahrain 28%, and Kuwait 37%. These figures indicate strong interest from these countries in participating in ATM.
Innovative Features at ATM
This year’s edition will feature over 55,000 attendees with about 37,000 expected to be visitors. Among them are more than 7,000 distinguished buyers. The event will showcase over 2,800 companies representing more than 161 global destinations.
ATM Travel Tech has expanded by 23% year-over-year. It showcases innovative technologies driving travel and hospitality sectors while attracting decision-makers globally. The Future Stage will host experts from Booking.com, TripAdvisor, dnata Travel Group among others who will share insights into evolving travel landscapes.
A new addition to ATM 2025 is the Start-up and Innovation Zone featuring an immersive VR experience aimed at enhancing visitor engagement. This area focuses on nurturing emerging travel pioneers by offering them a platform to present groundbreaking ideas and showcase cutting-edge solutions globally.
The growth trend seen last year is expected to continue this year with increased participation from key regions reflecting demand across global tourism industry.
