Ataya Exhibition Helps Patients Return Home After UAE Hospital Treatment

During the Holy Month of Ramadan, a significant humanitarian effort is underway as the Ataya Exhibition steps in to cover the travel expenses of patients from the Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi, enabling them to return home after receiving necessary medical treatment. This initiative underscores Ataya's dedication to humanitarian causes, focusing on patients from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, and Ghana who faced financial difficulties in returning home post-treatment.

The selected beneficiaries are those who were admitted for emergency services and essential medical care and have since recovered but are financially unable to afford their journey back to their home countries. Ataya's support includes covering travel expenses for patients requiring medical beds and essential supplies, ensuring a safe return to their families and communities.

Ataya Aids Patient Returns Post-Treatment

This act of generosity is part of Ataya's broader commitment during Ramadan to enhance its humanitarian efforts. Marking its second initiative this month, Ataya aims to address critical humanitarian issues, reflecting the spirit of giving that is deeply rooted in its future strategies and plans. Since its inception in 2012, the Ataya Exhibition has consistently prioritised the health sector, recognizing its pivotal role in fostering social and humanitarian development. Through its various editions, Ataya has launched several initiatives aimed at supporting healthcare-related causes.

The initiative not only facilitates the patients' return but also alleviates the financial burden on their families, enabling them to focus on continued recovery and well-being. By doing so, Ataya reinforces its commitment to contributing positively to society and supporting individuals in need during the sacred month of Ramadan.
