Aster DM Healthcare And Volunteers Extend Lifeline To UAE Flood Victims

In a compassionate response to the recent floods in the UAE, Aster DM Healthcare, alongside its commendable wing of Aster Volunteers, has embarked on a significant mission to aid those severely impacted by the natural calamity. The initiative focuses on providing crucial support to the families of Aster Coworkers, particularly those stranded in their homes due to power outages and waterlogging, a direct consequence of the torrential rains lashing out across the UAE.

The aid being dispensed includes essential items such as food, water, medicine, groceries, and the provision for teleconsultation with doctors from the Aster mobile clinic, ensuring the healthcare needs of the affected families, including children, are met with immediacy.

The relief operations spearheaded by Aster Volunteers are seeing active participation, with 25 dedicated individuals currently engaged in the efforts. To date, the initiative has reached out to and provided necessary support to over 50 families, with intentions to further the reach. The regions of Dubai and Sharjah have been focal points of these efforts, with future plans aiming to extend assistance to other flood-affected areas, including Fujairah, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah (RAK).
