Assistant Minister Rakan Bin Ibrahim Al-Touq Participates In Arab Culture Ministers Conference In Morocco
Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan bin Ibrahim Al-Touq represented Saudi Arabia at the 24th Arab Culture Ministers Conference. The event, hosted by Morocco and organised by ALECSO, focused on "Cultural Industries and the Challenges of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence". Al-Touq expressed gratitude to Morocco for its hospitality and acknowledged the participants' contributions to discussions on cultural industries, digital transformation, and AI.
The conference saw the ceremonial transfer of the presidency from Saudi Arabia to Morocco. Delegation heads shared their insights and discussed the agenda. Key topics included a strategic plan for cultural industries in Arab countries, summaries from the Permanent Committee for Arab Culture, recommendations adoption, and planning for the next session.

Al-Touq highlighted Saudi Arabia's dedication to protecting cultural heritage at both Arab and Islamic levels. He stressed the importance of creating an environment that supports joint efforts to safeguard cultural heritage.
