ASFAR Launches Two Major Projects To Enhance Tourism In Al-Baha And Yanbu
The Saudi Tourism Investment Company, known as ASFAR, has unveiled two new projects in Al-Baha and Yanbu. These initiatives mark the beginning of a strategic plan to develop tourist destinations across Saudi Arabia. ASFAR anticipates that both projects will be operational by 2026, introducing a fresh phase in the Kingdom's tourism landscape.
In Al-Baha, the Gamra Adventure Park is being developed by Jabal Khaira, an ASFAR subsidiary. This park aims to integrate with the local terrain and environment, offering visitors a unique tourism experience. It also seeks to involve the local community in fostering a sustainable tourism sector.

Yanbu will host the Kaynouna Beach Club, another project spearheaded by Baheej, an ASFAR subsidiary. Developed in collaboration with the Tamimi-AWN Alliance, this beach club combines local identity with interactive activities. It promises an integrated experience that captures the vibrant spirit of the area.
ASFAR has also introduced JABA, a destination management company under Baheej. JABA will manage tourism destinations and provide specialised services. This move aims to transform investments into sustainable experiences while enhancing operational efficiency within the tourism sector.
These developments are part of ASFAR's strategy to strengthen its role as a Public Investment Fund (PIF) investment arm. The company focuses on creating new Saudi destinations and forming strategic partnerships with both public and private sectors. This approach is expected to open up new opportunities in hospitality, entertainment, and specialised tourism activities.
The projects reflect ASFAR's commitment to building innovative tourist destinations in Saudi Arabia. By integrating local culture and environment into these developments, ASFAR aims to offer unique experiences that attract both domestic and international tourists.
ASFAR's initiatives align with broader efforts to diversify Saudi Arabia's economy through tourism. By investing in infrastructure and services that enhance visitor experiences, ASFAR contributes significantly to this national goal.
