UAE Armed Forces: A Source Of Pride And Stability For The Nation, Says Fujairah Ruler

The unification of the UAE Armed Forces, initiated on 6th May 1976, is a significant achievement for the nation. H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, highlighted this decision as a source of national pride. The unified military serves as a global example in maintaining security and stability.

Sheikh Hamad emphasised that the Armed Forces' unification reflects the vision of the Founding Fathers. They understood the necessity of a robust army to protect the homeland and its achievements. In his statement marking this anniversary, Sheikh Hamad conveyed congratulations to key leaders including President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members; and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
