Aramco And FIFA Forge Global Partnership To Promote Football And Social Initiatives
Aramco, a global leader in integrated energy and chemicals, has entered into a significant partnership with the professional football association FIFA. This four-year agreement positions Aramco as FIFA's primary worldwide partner in the energy sector, granting it sponsorship rights for several prestigious events, including the eagerly awaited FIFA World Cup 26™ and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™. The collaboration, extending until the end of 2027, is founded on a mutual commitment to innovation and development. It aims to harness football's unparalleled global appeal alongside Aramco’s pioneering role in innovation and community involvement.
"Through this partnership with FIFA, we aim to contribute to football development and harness the power of sport to make an impact around the globe," stated Aramco President and CEO Amin H. Nasser. Aramco's existing engagements with the Saudi football team Al-Qadsiah, women’s golf through the Aramco Team Series, and F1 in schools underscore its dedication to leveraging partnerships for societal benefit and grassroots development.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino expressed his enthusiasm about welcoming Aramco into FIFA’s family of global partners. He emphasized that this partnership would bolster FIFA's capability to host its flagship tournaments over the next four years. Moreover, it will facilitate enhanced support for FIFA’s 211 member associations worldwide. Infantino praised Aramco’s commitment to world-class events and its focus on grassroots sports initiatives.
