Arabian Travel Market 2025 To Feature Global AI Experts Discussing Innovations In Travel Industry
The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) will highlight the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on travel from 28 April to 1 May at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This global event will bring together AI experts and leaders to discuss how AI is transforming leisure and business travel, enhancing operations, and improving customer experiences.
AI's influence in the travel sector is significant, with Statista reporting that since 2020, AI and machine learning have made up about two-thirds of global technology investments by travel and mobility firms. The industry uses AI at various levels, from customers planning trips with AI tools to tourism providers using it for better resource management and personalised services.

On ATM's first day, Cassie Kozyrkov, CEO of Kozyr, will lead a session titled "AI adoption: From Buzzwords to Business Strategy." She will explain how travel companies can find real opportunities for improvement through AI. Kozyrkov will also address organisational challenges, potential threats, and the future implications of AI.
John Duffield, a futurist and travel expert, will share insights on how AI is reshaping the industry by enabling hyper-personalised experiences and seamless connectivity. His presentation will cover how travel providers can prepare for these technologies while tackling issues like data privacy and resistance to change.
A panel discussion on 30 April featuring Robin Lawther from Expedia Group will explore human-centric technology in the travel industry. The panel will address ethical considerations related to AI, privacy concerns, and maintaining human interaction in an automated environment.
Dorothee Anjos from Multilem will discuss the relationship between human connection and AI in event planning. Her session will examine how integrating both elements is changing event execution and experience while addressing challenges posed by AI's rise.
Future of Aviation and Business Travel
Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, will provide insights into aviation's future amid transformation and disruption. His session on 30 April will explore how AI optimises operations, predictive maintenance, and passenger experiences within the aviation sector.
Graham Pope from Cvent will host a session titled "Future-proofing 2025: Trends, AI and shifts in business and MICE travel." This session will focus on measuring event impacts through strategic planning, data collection, and analysis where AI plays a crucial role.
