Arab Parliament Urges Global Parliaments To Act Against Israeli Attempts To Dismantle UNRWA

Mohammed Ahmed Al-Yamahi, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, has urged parliaments worldwide to act swiftly against Israeli efforts to dismantle the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). He communicated with parliamentary leaders globally, stressing the seriousness of these actions aimed at erasing UNRWA’s role and undermining Palestinian refugees' rights, especially their internationally recognized right of return.

Al-Yamahi emphasized that UNRWA is vital to the international community's commitment to Palestinian refugees’ rights and heritage. He stated that attempts to eliminate it are part of a broader strategy to nullify the refugees’ right to return, which violates international law and United Nations resolutions.
