Arab Ministers Join Blinken In Riyadh For Critical Middle East Peace Talks
In a significant diplomatic gathering on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, joined forces with top diplomats from the United States and four Arab nations to address critical issues in the Middle East. The meeting, which saw the participation of US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken and counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, and a representative from Palestine, focused on the pressing humanitarian and security situation in the Gaza Strip.

Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the urgent challenges facing the region and stressed the importance of regional and international efforts to support a comprehensive peace process based on the two-state solution.

He emphasized countering extremism, reducing tensions, curbing violence, protecting civilian lives, and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza through secure corridors.
Furthermore, Sheikh Abdullah reiterated the UAE's commitment to promoting peace and stability both regionally and globally. He also expressed the UAE's dedication to fostering development and prosperity through cooperative ties with various nations.
The meeting was attended by notable UAE officials including Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President; Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs; and Sheikh Nahyan bin Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This gathering marks a concerted effort by key regional players and the United States to address some of the most pressing issues in the Middle East today.
