Arab Interior Ministers Council Led By Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Highlights Importance Of Security Alliance

The 42nd session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council took place in Tunis under the patronage of President Kais Saied of Tunisia. The meeting was attended by Arab ministers of interior, with Saudi Arabia's delegation led by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Honorary President of the council.

Prince Abdulaziz highlighted the significance of the council as a symbol of Arab security unity. He stated, "This council embodies the depth of the Arab security alliance, built on trust and cooperation, in the face of rapid changes, overlapping crises, and challenges. Our security today is founded on the achievements of the past and the capabilities of the present to address current and future challenges."

During his speech, Prince Abdulaziz conveyed greetings from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. He expressed their hopes for enhanced Arab cooperation through this meeting. He also extended gratitude to President Saied for hosting the session and appreciated the warm hospitality from Tunisia.

Prince Abdulaziz acknowledged Tunisian Minister Khaled Nouri for his role in ensuring the success of the event. Additionally, he welcomed new members who have recently joined the Arab Interior Ministers Council, emphasizing collaboration among member states.

The gathering underscored a shared commitment to addressing regional security issues amidst evolving global challenges. The discussions aimed at reinforcing collective efforts to tackle these issues effectively while fostering mutual trust among participating nations.
