Arab Interior Ministers Discuss Security And Stability In Tunisia Meeting

Under the auspices of President Kais Saied of Tunisia, the 41st session of the Arab Interior Ministers' Council convened in Tunis, marking a significant gathering of Arab nations' interior ministers. The session saw the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation led by Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, who also serves as the honorary president of the council.

In a notable highlight of the meeting, the council awarded the Naif Prize Medal for Arab Security (Excellent Grade) to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, acknowledging his substantial contributions to the security and stability of the Arab community. The prestigious award was received on behalf of King Salman by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud.

Arab Ministers Focus on Security in Tunisia

During his address, Prince Abdulaziz conveyed heartfelt greetings from King Salman and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. He articulated their hopes for the meeting to bolster common Arab security now and into the future. Additionally, he extended gratitude to President Saied for hosting the council meeting and lauded the Tunisian people and Interior Minister Kamal Feki for their hospitality and efforts towards the meeting's success.

Prince Abdulaziz underscored the critical timing of the meeting amidst challenging humanitarian and security conditions in Palestine, which have inflicted suffering on countless children, women, and elderly individuals. He reaffirmed the council's commitment to fostering security, stability, and development for Arab citizens since its inception.

The speech concluded with Prince Abdulaziz expressing appreciation for the relentless dedication of security services in combating crime under various conditions. Their efforts are pivotal in safeguarding individuals' lives and ensuring public security, he noted.
