Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union Praises Saudi Efforts For Palestine At Algeria Conference

The 36th Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union Conference (AIPU) concluded today in Algiers, with a Saudi Arabian delegation led by the Speaker of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh. The event saw participation from heads of parliaments, delegation leaders, and representatives of various regional and international organizations.

The conference addressed developments in the Palestinian cause and the current situations in the Arab region. In its final statement, the AIPU praised Saudi Arabia's efforts, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in supporting the Palestinian cause.

Saudi Arabia was commended for hosting several Arab, Islamic, and African summits aimed at supporting the Palestinian cause and ending aggression against the Palestinian people. The statement highlighted the Kingdom's diplomatic initiatives and its culture of promoting constructive dialogue among Arab nations.

Regarding Yemen, the AIPU emphasized Saudi Arabia's initiatives advocating for constructive dialogue to achieve sustainable peace and a comprehensive political solution. These efforts are led by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The conference endorsed recommendations from the political committee, which praised Saudi Arabia's significant contributions and initiatives aimed at unifying Arab ranks and elevating the status of Arab and Islamic nations in international forums.

Diplomatic Efforts in Sudan

The AIPU also commended Saudi Arabia for hosting talks in Jeddah between parties involved in the Sudan crisis. These discussions aimed to solidify a ceasefire and reach a final agreement to halt hostilities, preserving Sudanese sovereignty and unity while enabling them to regain security and stability.

The conference's final statement highlighted Saudi Arabia's diplomatic acumen under the guidance of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The Kingdom's efforts to promote dialogue among Arab nations were acknowledged as pivotal in overcoming differences and addressing common Arab issues, particularly the Palestinian cause.
