Arab Health Marks Its 50th Anniversary With Major Innovations And Global Participation In January 2025
Arab Health, the Middle East's premier healthcare event, will mark its 50th edition at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 27 to 30 January 2025. This significant event is themed 'Where the world of healthcare meets' and promises to draw a global audience. Last year, business deals worth over AED9 billion were finalised, with participation from 3,627 exhibitors and more than 58,000 visitors.
Since its start in 1975 with just over 40 exhibitors, Arab Health has evolved into a globally recognised event. Initially focused on medical products, it expanded through the '80s and '90s with increased regional and international participation. By the 2000s, it had secured worldwide recognition. Today, it attracts leading healthcare figures and international exhibitors.

The upcoming edition anticipates over 3,800 exhibitors due to increased floor space, including Al Mustaqbal Hall. Many will unveil world-exclusive innovations in healthcare. Visitor numbers are expected to exceed 60,000. Solenne Singer from Informa Markets noted that Arab Health has been pivotal in shaping the UAE's healthcare landscape alongside the nation's growth.
The 50th-anniversary edition will introduce the World of Wellness and Healthcare ESG conferences. These focus on future healthcare trends, offering insights into wellness and sustainability initiatives. Presentations will cover pharmaceutical developments and health tourism initiatives aimed at fostering a healthier future.
The Smart Hospital and Interoperability Zone will provide an immersive experience showcasing innovative healthcare technologies. This area highlights how technology can integrate with medical equipment to enhance patient care environments. The Transformation Zone will feature talks, product showcases, and the Innov8 Start-up competition.
Future Health Summit and AI Advancements
Returning this year is the Future Health Summit focusing on AI in transforming healthcare delivery. This invite-only summit allows senior officials and CEOs to network and explore industry advancements. Ross Williams from Informa Markets highlighted AI's potential in improving patient outcomes through timely diagnoses.
Medical professionals attending Arab Health 2025 can access nine Continuing Medical Education (CME) accredited conferences at Conrad Dubai. Topics include radiology, obstetrics, surgery, infection control, public health, decontamination, sterilisation, quality management, emergency medicine, and healthcare leadership.
Additionally, four new non-CME accredited thought leadership conferences will be held: EmpowHer: Women in Healthcare; Digital Health and AI; Healthcare Leadership; and Investment. An expanded Arab Health Village will offer networking opportunities in a relaxed setting with food and beverages available throughout show days.
Arab Health continues to play a crucial role in advancing the UAE's healthcare sector by facilitating knowledge exchange and innovation. As it celebrates its milestone anniversary in 2025, it remains a central platform for showcasing cutting-edge developments in global healthcare.
